On July 8, Mantis Vision, a world-leading 3D and computer vision technology supplier, signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with China-Israel Innovation Hub (Shanghai) in Shanghai in respect of settling in the hub, carrying out a series of intensive cooperation and building a benchmarking enterprise of China-Israel high and new technological cooperation.
Mr. Wang Shen, Chairman of China-Israel Innovation Hub (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., and Mr. Chen Ling, CEO of Mantis Vision Technologies Co., Ltd., signed the agreement as a representative. Gujun, Deputy secretary of the District Committee of Putuo District of Shanghai City, Bei Zhaojian, deputy director the Foreign Affairs Office of Shanghai City, Fu Guoqing, deputy director of the Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai, Wei Jing, deputy head of Putuo District of Shanghai City, Ms. Grimaud, consul of the Israeli Consulate General in Shanghai and Mr. Jussi, business consultant of the Israeli Consulate General in Shanghai, attended the signing ceremony.
CEO of Mantis Vision Mr. Chen told us in the field interview that the Company will be located in an independent office building, which was rebuilt from an old factory in the hub by the end of this year and a “black technology” exhibition center gathering world-leading technologies will be set there. As a star enterprise actively supported by the hub, Mantis Vision has world-leading 3D and computer vision technology and will become a benchmarking enterprise of AI, one of three planning directions of the hub. Presently, several technological innovation projects of Mantis Vision are gradually stepping into the market. For example, “face payment” project based on patented 3D sensing equipment has reached cooperation with many domestic banks. As the only global technology which can realize 360° high-precision 3D live, Mantis Vision is extensively popularized and applied in the Chinese market.
Mentioning how to select China-Israel (Shanghai) Innovation Hub, Mr. Chen Ling said the hub’s pragmatic supportive policy and the working group’s quick response gave great confidence to enterprises, especially intellectual property services provided facilitated with the application for worldwide patent protection of world-leading technologies and the development of new high-tech enterprises.
China-Israel (Shanghai) Innovation Hub, an another achievement of China-Israel innovation cooperation, built an international innovative demonstration park “suitable for innovation, undertaking and living” based on solid government cooperation between both parties with the aim of “one-stop service, distributed operation and interconnected development”.
